Events at a Glance
The SLU Chamber hosts a variety of events throughout the calendar year, in our effort to best serve our members. Please refer to the events page for additional details and to register.
Monthly Breakfast/Lunches
These events are designed to provide a mix of networking and educational opportunities. Each month, we present a speaker highlighting different areas of interest for building our business or learning more about the SLU neighborhood. Arrive early to meet as many people as possible. We rotate between breakfast and lunch timeframes to accomodate different schedules. We always schedule them for 90 minutes. The first 30 are dedicated to mingling. Then we allow 60 minutes for the main program.
Mixers
Strictly focused on networking, these freestyle events are a great way to meet several chamber members at once and have time for a business building conversation. There is usually no agenda for these events and you are invited to show up at any time.
Annual Tradeshow
The Tradeshow utilizes a traditional table format, giving our members an opportunity to best showcase their business. Caterers and restaurants offer samples of their delicious foods. There are several ways to be involved in this dynamic event.
Annual Awards Breakfast
The Annual Awards breakfast is a way we highlight leaders in our neighborhood. Awards include: SLU Volunteer, Excellence in Business for both large and small employers, Excellence in Sustainability, Retailer of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year.
