The SLU Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber in helping to grow small businesses. As part of a special agreement we have with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, we are pleased to offer your small business free reciprocal membership with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber to help increase your presence in Seattle’s broader business community.
As a member of the SLU Chamber you can now access all of the benefits and services provided by the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber. These Include:

Here’s what you need to know:
Member companies of the SLU Chamber will be give the opportunity to enroll as member companies of the Seattle Metro Chamber at no cost if:
- They have fewer than 15 employees.
- They are a member in good standing with the SLU Chamber.
- They have not been a member of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber in the past twenty-four (24) months.
Reciprocal membership is available on an annual basis indefinitely, as long as the business continues to meet the above listed criteria.

Simply complete the Seattle Chamber Membership Application (download document below) and return it to the SLU Chamber of Commerce electronically by email or hard copy by mail.

Businesses have access to equity and debt financing products, which are available through non-traditional and non-profit lending institutions to meet their specific financial needs
Businesses that are having a problem going through the standard city process to get assistance from city departments, can contact the South Lake Union Chamber who have direct access to advocates within the Office of Economic Development and other City of Seattle departments to resolve issues
No Cost Business Consulting
Businesses can receive one-on-one business consulting services at no cost to enhance their daily operations which include: assistance with business planning, strategic planning, marketing strategies, customer loyalty programs, cash flow, inventory cycle, budgeting, and much more
Direct business support and navigational help for restaurant and other food business entrepreneurs as they start and operate their businesses in Seattle, including a comprehensive, one-stop online guide with city, county, and state permitting and licensing information, and tools to help restaurateurs more easily navigate the process to starting and growing a restaurant
Businesses can receive assistance with identifying potential employees to fill open positions in their establishments
Businesses can receive assistance in reducing their utility bills through no costs audits that identify potential energy, water, and waste reductions savings. In addition, there is a no cost green business program that helps businesses efficiently address and reduce environmental impacts, and showcase their efforts to the community

Businesses can receive assistance to help reduce the impact construction projects have on their ability to conduct business
