Committees

The SLU Chamber operates through the volunteer efforts of our committees.  Committee participation is a great way for supporters to get involved behind the scenes and help make things happen.  Listed below are the committees.  We recommend contacting us to learn more information and join us! Email info@sluchamber.org

Events Committee

Do you have a passion for planning events?  Love being creative and meeting new people?  Get involved in a fun and interesting way with the SLU Chamber and the SLU community.

Marketing & Membership Committee

Join us in discussions and projects that connect and serve our supporters and build lasting relationships.  This committee helps the Chamber engage its supporters and grow in new and exciting ways. Do you love social media and all things electronic? Do you enjoy design and creative thinking? Help market the Chamber and the South Lake Union neighborhood. Can’t make the meeting, but still want to be involved? This committee works a lot through email and projects that can be done remotely. So get on the distribution list and help out when you can.

Public Affairs Committee

Planes, trains and automobiles (and bikes and buses and pedestrians): South Lake Union has it all. This committee assists the SLU Chamber with creating a great environment for employers and employees in South Lake Union. Topics we cover include transportation, utilities, parking, taxes and regulations, governmental issues, etc. Make your voice heard on the leading public affairs issues of the day.

Finance Committee

Do you love numbers and working to find the best way to manage money?  Join us in discussions that will help the Chamber grow to its best ability within our budget! This committee helps the chamber manage finances, income, expenses, etc. The Finance Committee is a great fit for professionals who are looking to use those untapped monetary budgeting skills.
