Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

RSVP for the Tree Lighting Celebration on Facebook to be entered to win an overnight stay at the Pan Pacific with breakfast and parking.* Join Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary and kick off the holiday season at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration. The event will be hosted and emceed by KIRO TV’s Jenni Hogan. The evening will feature holiday entertainment from the Great Figgy Pudding Street Corner Caroling as well as a DJ spinning festive beats until 10:00 p.m. in the hotel’s Lobby Bar.
Guests can toast holiday themed cocktails and enjoy warm drinks at the Ice Bar. Chef John Howie along with Seattle Models will be serving complimentary bites at 6:30 p.m. Capture the evening at the Holidays In the City themed photobooth! The Metropolitan Improvement District's Denny Triangle neighborhood will be onsite providing holiday photo opportunities to commemorate your holiday visit - perfect for creating personalized holiday cards!
To enter, simply bring by a non-perishable food item, warm coat or toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner in support of YouthCare’s J.W. Orion Center, and you will also be entered to win a complimentary weekend - two night stay at the hotel in a newly remodeled luxurious one bedroom suite. Bring your donations on the night of the event to the Pan Pacific Hotel at the 2200 Westlake Plaza, or to any of the participating retailers at 2200 from December 1 – 31 and you will be entered to win the grand prize.
The Orion Center, located at 1828 Yale Avenue in Seattle, is a multi-service facility. Open 7 days a week as a drop in center to homeless youth ages 13-22; the center works to provide a safe and secure shelter for Seattle’s homeless children. Finish your shopping at the Pan Pacific’s unique holiday boutique. Select from a variety of distinctive gift ideas from specialty shops in the South Lake Union neighborhood. Sip on holiday inspired drinks and enjoy savory bites from Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar while you shop. The Metropolitan Improvement District's Denny Triangle neighborhood will be onsite providing holiday photo opportunities to commemorate your holiday visit - perfect for creating personalized holiday cards!
Proceeds benefit YouthCare’s J.W. Orion Center. Fill those stocking with creative and one of kind treasures from: Opal, Clover House, Design Theory, Stella Niche, Scraps Dog Bakery, Vida Spa, BeLuminous, Tutta Bella Pizzeria and many others. YouthCare will also be featuring specially, hand-made holiday ornaments from the children at the Orion Center. Proceeds from the boutique entry donation will benefit the center’s weekly art programs.
Be one of the first to purchase a hand signed copy of Chef John Howie’s new cook book, Passion & Palate: Recipes for a Generous Table, along with cedar planks and specialty rubs. Gift cards will also be available for purchase.

In partnership with the Carter Family Marionettes Northwest Puppet Center, Pan Pacific presents a puppet making workshop for children of all ages. Children will have a chance to:
- Try their hand at making shadow puppets
- Interact and take photos with characters including Mr. Clause and Clara from the Nutcracker and others
- Create their very own toy puppet to take home
Workshop includes:
- Complimentary hot chocolate and holiday treats
- Holiday parting gift for each child
