SPEAKER:  Angela Brady, SDOT & Eric Tweit, SDOT

TOPIC:  Mercer Corridor Project

Building Demolition begins!  You should probably attend this meeting to find out how this will affect you daily life.

The first stage of the Mercer Corridor Project begins in the next couple of weeks.  Read the flie (PDF).

What to Expect During Demolition:
  • Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Noise, dust and vibration
  • Increased truck and over-sized vehicle traffic
  • Temporary parking restrictions
  • Temporary pedestrian detours

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Angela Brady, PE, PMP is a Senior Supervising Project Manager responsible for managing highly complex major transportation projects with the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT).  Angela has a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington, and is a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.  She has over 16 years of civil engineering project management and design experience, and has been working as the Senior Project Manager for the Mercer Corridor Improvements Project at SDOT since 2006.

Eric Tweit is a Project Manager with the Seattle Department of Transportation. Eric has 20 years of transportation planning experience, including 16 years as a transportation planner and project manager with the City of Seattle. His experience includes the Mercer Corridor Project and the Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Projects where he currently serves as the City Lead for the North Access area of the proposed SR-99 deep bored tunnel alternative.
