About Us
In 2006, the Charter Board of Directors formed our organization to “enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of the South Lake Union area through varied programs and services that benefit members and the community at large.” This is our mission.
The Chamber works to advance the business, professional, civic and cultural interests of the South Lake Union area by:
- Encouraging the growth of business
- Supporting community activities
- Assisting members in connection to legislative and governmental matters
- Promoting the general welfare of area businesses, organizations and residents

Your Input Steers the Chamber
Input from Chamber members and other stakeholders in the community is the reason why we were incorporated as a business association. In 2008 the City of Seattle's Office of Economic Development awarded the Chamber with a grant to help fund a series of educational workshops for the benefit of our members.
Help us determine meeting topics by completing
the Educational Workshop Topics survey.
